About this location
The River Arts District (RAD) is a cool spot, connecting downtown and West Asheville. Housing lots of artists and several good restaurants and breweries, it’s a fun place to put-in on the river. Boaters and tubers alike find this a nice part of the river to get out and explore. Samples here are done in collaborative effort between MountainTrue and NCDEQ. NCDEQ takes samples on Mondays. MountainTrue takes samples on Wednesdays.
