Westfeldt Park is maintained by the Henderson County Parks and Recreation Department and the NC Wildlife Resources Department. The park features a power boat ramp, picnic tables, and ample parking. This stretch of river is popular with fishermen and boaters and offers views of the surrounding countryside. This site is part of the French Broad River Paddle Trail which connects over 140 miles of the French Broad River through paddle in only campsites and access sites. Henderson County takes samples on Mondays. NC DEQ takes samples on Thursdays. MountainTrue takes samples on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
